We have added a page on the best SEO page layout. If you are about to design your own template for your blog, make sure you check out this page it will save you some time on designing the basic optimized structure. So you can spend more time on bells and whistles that will make your site look good.

We have also laid a foundation for our SEO Checklist for Bloggers. It is a quick guide to some of the main points in structural optimization for blogs. The checklist will be updated regularly, so bookmark it for the future and come back to check for updates regularly.

PageRank in Chrome

Google ChromeMost of us who have installed Google’s “freshly baked” Chrome (for a test drive or for good use) did not hold back their surprise when they found out that the legendary PageRank status bar is nowhere to be found. More than that, there is no Google Toolbar-like plugin for Chrome whatsoever.

What’s the message?

Some may interpret the absence of the PR bar as a hidden (not!) message from Google’s development team about the insignificance of this measure in their search algorithm. Continue Reading »
